So ever since has cooled off a little bit, my truck has been kindly hard to start. If it sits for just a little while, it will barely crank over, and then when it cranks and runs, it starts easily.

So tonight I go to get in after starting my truck I noticed that both headlights are out on low beams. The high beams work and if I turn my low beams on, I can turn my fog lights on, but both headlights on low will not work. Whats the chances of both low beams blowing? I'm sure I have a dead cell in the battery but both low beams!

If it's struggling to turn over (slowly) then you most likely have a weak battery. If you have a voltmeter you should check how much the alternator is putting out to verify that it is not causing the weak battery.

Both low beams blowing at the same time has been common before.

Or go to any parts store and have both or either tested for free.

Popped in to AutoZone real quick with a woman working, asked her to test my battery (which has a dead cell like i figured) checked my fuses (which were fine) sure enough both low beams are blown. She said go get your bulbs and bring em to me. Exchanged my overpriced Sylvania bulbs on the spot for new ones and rolled out. Guess I'll call Auto zone to give the lady 2 thumbs up for the great care! I should have conned her into a cheap price on a battery while I was there!
