I'm new here, I'm from East Tennessee. Anyways. I'm having a really hard time with figuring out what kind of lift kit I need. I'd like to put on a 3in lift but I don't really want new shocks, Just a simple lift kit. My truck is a 2wd 4cyl. Also within a decent price range, what size tires should I use with a 3in lift? Without having to trim. Oh yeah, could I find those tires that'll fit my stock 15in rims? Just looking for a cheaper way bc I'm on somewhat of a budget. Thanks in advance

    First, welcome to TW.

This is the most asked question on this site. If you hang out and read, you'll find there are nearly as many answers as trucks on the road for how to lift yours.

If you aren't wanting a suspension lift, you're looking at spacer - which are generally frowned upon here, since this site tends to lean toward performance before looks. Also, if you want a 3 inch lift, there are many complications due to the geometry of the IFS and the stock components. I suggest reading many threads starting with this one.

    Best of luck!

You should be able to run a larger tire right?

I don't know much about spindle lifts but yes, it should get you around 4 inches. They only work on 2wd tacomas. I know @HeadStrong Off-Road has the setup.
