I have a 17 TRDOF DCSB TECH Pkg w/o JBL With heated seats

    Does this look right...

I notice when I got my truck back. I looked behind the drivers seat and at the bottom where you would slide your feet there wasn't much room like there was before I had them put on. Went grabbed it to see what it was like. It was obvious was holing up something and not very tight.

I had to put my OEM+ amp back on I had a chance to look at it. All these wires were coming down around the bottom edge of the back rest. Plastic wire holders that were not placed back in place.

Is this install look correct? If it is I'm not impressed. LOVE the seats but this looks a bit redneck. Looks as if they forgot to run the wires correct in the right order. I think the pass seat is the same.

I haven't done it but have watched a few vids on youtube and that looks like they forgot to run the wire inside till afterthey had finished...

i can't really tell what's going on in your photos. I just did my passenger side tonight and there shouldn't be any wires showing.

The clips on the plugs went to the original seat covers. They had a stitched on plastic pad that held them. The new ones don't do that is normal for them to not be attached to anything.

Thanks... Those wires are just coming down in back and just hanging there and covered by the carpet flap... I thought they would be a bit hidden or placed in such a way that they would not interfere with the feet area.

Not in truck but should look like this. All wires should be hidden by "carpet" flap.

I think I'm just going to pull the seats and finish myself. I can pull the nose rings and mess with the cables and pull them tighter.

Its kind of weird that carpet flap, the elastic strap that holds it is a bit cheezy. I guess I was just expecting a bit more. They are beautiful and my new car smell is gone

Ya those ABag wires need to run along the inside seat frame, all the way down and come out the pre-cut holes in the lean back cover. How did you find this installer? Curious if they are even a Certified Katzkin group??

The OEM seat covers have a flap that extends from the back of the front seats, to under the seats and clips on there. Same with my Clazzio covers. I'd imagine the KatzKins have something similar. Perhaps the installer incorrectly tucked that flap into the seat, rather than under it?

YES it is a recommended installer. I bought it through the dealer and they took it to them.

It looks as if I had two guys doing it. I pulled the passenger seat and this is what it looks like. A LOT NEATER. As you described this what it may should look like.

However I re-did the elastic and put it under those bars.

I pulled the drivers seat again and tried to re-situate everything and re-did the elastic and it's a lot better. Still you can tell it wasn't done as well/neat.

I did send an email to Katzskin with this link. Wonder if they will contact me. I didn't get on them or anything, just asked them if this was correct.

Oh he did install it. That's what got me going, the flap hung down like a full diaper.
