The SR thread, let's see them!

If I didn't just order the 4Runner Pro wheels for my Tacoma Pro, I would put those on my Pro.

 

Had it for just over a month now. Love it so far.

 

Black is beautiful!

 

I love the SR grill however I don't love the big openings in it. Picked up some steel mesh from Home Depot, took the grill all apart, cut and bent the mesh to fit, zip tied in place and also compressed it between the outer frame and grill along the top and bottom. Took it all apart after test fit, painted, installed. I'm liking it so far.

I can't tell but is the bumper matte black and differerent from rest of the black paint ?


Does the double can SR has body colored bumper and access can SR has black bumper?

 

The front bumper is unpainted and comes in the utility package , it is like a matte black or flat black

Yeah those are the stockers I have the new wheels and tires in the garage

Need to order the lift first

And it was $26k out the door came in from the port in Houston 12 miles in it

 

My bad stock is a 245 75 16 I'm pretty sure... I'll check lol

 

All depends on which SR package you buy. Bottom of the line SR has unpainted bumpers, SR with the appearance package has body color bumpers front and back.

 

4x2 or 4x4 ?? Nice looking truck

 

Mine is a 2016 double cab short bed 4x4 V6 automatic with the convenience package as well as the appearance package. Came with aluminum wheels as well rather than the steel wheels. Also came with the door sill protectors from the factory. Paid $31,918 out the door which was a little shy of window sticker price before any taxes, delivery, all that. I'm very happy with it. Only things I wanted that it didn't have was intermittent wipers and fog lights but that's been taken care of. It had 3 miles on it when I left the dealership with it to bring it home. Took about 7-8 weeks to get it after placing my order.

 

It's a 2x4 2.7... nothing special


But I took delivery on it today and went to inspect it before taking it home and come to find out Toyota didn't put any oil in it from the factory

Showed the dealership they said yes will get that taken care of right away

Then after that I get home and the service department forgot to put the oil full cap back on and there is oil all over the engine bay

I just got off the phone with the dealership and told them to take the truck back and get me a new one

I'm pissed first time I've ever had a bad experience with Toyota!

 

That's a really good deal... that's what I might do next because I am requesting the dealership take the truck back after my horror story...

I was working with 2 dealers. I went back and forth between the 2, each would beat the others price. You have to play them against each other, put a little time into it, it'll pay off in the end. Ah and when you get up to walk out, they'll just about always do whatever you want. Don't bluff either, if you get up, be ready to leave otherwise they've got you where they want you and they will win every time.

Any pics of 4 door SR Tacoma with front bumper diffeeent color ?

Seems all 4 door has appearance package ?

When I build Tacoma SR 4 door on Toyota website
I don't even get appearance package option

Automatically body colored bumper is selected

 

The utility package (black bumpers) is not available on the four-door , only the access cab. So I think they would all have painted bumpers.

 

Plastidip the bumpers if you want the utility look. It also helps from scratches when driving thru brush.
