I'm on the fence. I definitely don't want the entire word "SUPERCHARGED" spelled out on the tailgate. If anything, I'd like "S/C" about 1/2" to 3/4" tall. I've looked around but haven't found exactly what I'm envisioning in my head.

Yes, I did the Walbro 255 kit from URD.

A couple of things I didn't like about the kit...

On the pump mounting to the factory bucket, I would have preferred 2 clamps instead of one. Had I realized it before-hand, I would have bought another one. I may drop the tank later and add another one.

On the external fuel filter, the only provision for mounting is zip ties. Also the big loop of fuel hose that is needed due to the location of the filter. I'll figure out something a little more sturdy and re-do it later.

I did take several pictures as I went if anyone has a specific question.

That's actually a good idea. Maybe instead of a supercharger emblem I'll put on one of these:

Turns out you can't access the fuel pump by removing the bed on a DCSB. Don't know if it's different on a long bed. Looks like I'll be dropping the tank after I burn some fuel. And I just filled up. Damnit

I was just going to ask what pump you used to siphon the fuel. Thanks for the links.

No re-tune. According to others, the tune is pretty rich so the extra boost doesn't really require anything. Your mileage may vary so get a wideband O2 to keep an eye on things.

Its not that bad. I didn't even jack up the truck. I used this jack to assist me a little: If you live near a Harbor Freight, text TOOLS6 to 222377 for a 20% off coupon.

A couple tips on the tank.

Get a little container and slide under the truck under the rear door. There are 2 fuel lines there. When you disconnect them be prepared to put your container under there because you'll get some fuel spilling out.

Then in front of the driver rear wheel look up. You'll see a little bracket with a hole in it. Put a phillips head screw driver in there and loosen the clamp for the fuel filler neck.

Next to the filler neck clamp there is another line for the tank vent. Squeeze that and pull the line loose from the filler neck.

At this point, I stuck my siphon hose straight into the fuel tank to get the fuel out. I was having trouble getting it all the way down there from the actual gas cap hole.

Put the jack under the tank. Remove the 2 14mm nuts that hold the tank straps. Lower the jack a couple inches. Then slide up under the truck from the rear.

At the rear of the tank there is a line for the charcoal canister. It is the same type as the others but fatter. You can either disconnect it at the tank or at the charcoal canister. I disconnected it at the canister because I had an easier time getting my hand up in there into position. In the pic below, you can see this hose at the very top.

Now lower the tank a couple more inches and slide under the truck from the passenger side. Reach up over the tank and disconnect the fuel pump harness. If you have trouble getting it off like I did, carefully tug/pull the fuel pump cable away from the main harness that runs along the frame. On my truck, doing that actually gave me enough slack that I was able to sit the tank on the ground with that harness still connected. Once I could see it better I was able to get it free from the pump.

Once the tank is out, the rest is pretty easy. Try to get as much fuel out as you can. It makes it much easier to handle the tank without a bunch of fuel sloshing around.

If you get most of the fuel out, its VERY light. Like 15-20 pounds?
