We try to do research on what people would like to see on some of the common products before we start to design them. That way we can hopefully offer a product that is different than others out there and meet some of the customers needs at the same time.

I agree with all of those suggestions! We will keep all of that in mind while designing the skids for sure!

We all got to use our sliders at least a few times haha, those C4 sliders are really nice. I was telling Brian I don't think I've seen a beefier set of sliders, the plates that were welded to the frame are huge. They're definitely sturdy

Word. I looked at the design. Was curious of a possible rock being stuck between the rear of the slider bar and the body of the truck. Something wedged in there could prove to being an issue if needing to reverse?

hmm, I was talking to someone in Big Bear about this exact scenario that happened to them once...a stick of wood sticking up from the ground got stuck between the slider and the body of his truck and caused some gnarly body damage. Seems like a freak accident but at the same time...not all that hard to imagine happening. The C4 sliders have fill plates though don't they? Brian's and Steve's did anyhow

Yup happened to me. If I had no slider the wood would have glanced off and caused no damage. But it wedged and caused damage to my door and rocker. If you get sliders get the top plates.

I'm talking about right here. A rock lands there and how does one back out? Winching backwards is always the best move. Looks like a stud holding a truck in one place with the the only option is to go forward.

A slight curvature would allow to protect a rock wedged and the ability to bump around. Things get nasty out in the wild and sometimes force and LOUD bangs are what's needed to get out. I've seen some "freak" occurrences out there. It happens more than we would imagine. Most recent was Cali Raised Ford LT on Jacoby. He was being a nice guy and pulled off to the side for downward jeeps coming by and he wedged a rock between his axel and gas tank. Not Blake's fault one iota. Theory means jack shit in the bush.

Same thing happened to @Mike likes Tacos today at the MJT, we pulled aside to let some Jeeps pass our big group and he got his rear axle hung up on a big ass rock. Fortunately the rock was able to move around so after some back and forth he was free.

Thats exactly what the fellas at Jacoby did. They mcgyvered the rock out from the side. I wasn't there for it. Sara got elevation sickness and the crew encouraged us to bounce out. I did the most "difficult" part of Jacoby in reverse, flipped a bitch, and got her back to camp. @stvstoy jumped in my rig and we bugged back to help but they were free. Party.
