    Hello all:

70 year-old retired mechanical engineer here--we just bought a "new-to-us" 2009 double cab Pre-Runner (SR5, TTD Sport)--135,000 miles but looks like new in and out. My wife and I are long time Toyota owners; she had an '89 Celica GT that had 345k on it when we traded it for a '96 RAV-4; the RAV had 265k when it went for 2003 Highlander which has just passed 200,000 miles.

When we met in 1990 I had an '85 Corolla, traded in with 365k miles for a '94 Corolla wagon that went away in '2006 at 245k miles when I got wild hair and bought 2003 Mustang GT.

The Mustang morphed into '98 Mercedes SL500 in 2013. Just bought the "Taco" and the SL500 (FUN to drive--horrible to own) will be on Craigslist shortly.

Oddly the Tacoma weighs some 200+ lbs less than the SL500...
