a/t temp light after fluid change

    OK, so i treated her bad, but c'mon it's a 'yota - choice of the J'hadists! Didn't come stock with bed mounted 50 cal but still!

    I ran my '02 V6 tacoma past 100K without a change, went to change it by drain, refill, repeat with many gallons of wal-mart ATF dex/merc II/III until purged and now temp light comes on when pulling hills etc..

    Think I might have fried it. question is can I Install an auxiliary cooler? convert to synthetic? call dad for bail money or is it all in vain. There is a reason I was taught to drive a manual.
