IMG_0840.jpg I have read articles and posts from this forum for many years now, so I finally decided to join. I bought my first Tacoma in 05, new from dealership in New Burn NC. This was the first new vehicle I had ever owned. I retired from the Marine Corps in Jan 07 and drove that truck until a few months ago. I sold it to a young Marine in Beaufort SC. (Pics attached) I got a lot of good info from this site when I was modifying my 2005. So thanks to all who post here!
I had my eye on the new 3rd Gen since it was first advertised. Did quite a bit of research on it and decided to buy. Once I found a red access cab off-road which took longer than one might think I jumped on it and began mods right away. I went with the same lift with a few upgrades as my 05 Reg Cab.
Looking forward to adding value to this sight.

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
What wheels and tires are those?

The wheels on both the 05 and the 16 are Method NV's. and yes I loved the look of the 05 Reg Cab. I was always needing more room and more power though.

16x8 w/ no spacers, and if I had to guess on the clearance from UCA's 1-1.5 inches give or take. SPC UCA's give a little extra room.
