    Im thinking about getting a tire deflator similar to the ARB ez deflator (removes valve stem) I'm wondering if there is any risk of messing up the tire pressure monitoring system. My truck is a 2015 TRD Sport

    All tpms does is alert to low tire pressure. It wont hurt it.

    the sensor is attached to the valve stem, but it won't cause any issues. You'll just have the annoying light on the dash...

    Thanks for the replies. I've heard they can be expensive so I'm being cautious. Sounds like others are airing down with out any issues so I assume the same will work for me.

    I have that one. I did not feel like paying the extra money for the arb stamp. It is good does what it is supposed too. I used it when I went out on Corolla beach. Pulled up next to a guy who was doing it the old fashion way with a stick a guage. He had 31's I have 33's. Had all 4 tires done in the time it took him to do 1 1/2. Worth the money. Can be a little difficult to turn at times. I reached out the the seller about the turning difficulty and they advised it was normal and they even sent me a new one free of charge. but all in all a good purchase. :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

    I have the ARB and it works fine. But honestly I don't use it any more because an even easier, cheaper and faster option is to use these:

    They don't go as fast as the ARB but you run four in parallel. They don't auto stop like the Stauns but those seem to have mixed reliability and you have to set them to one pressure.

    These I screw one onto the first tire, after 30 secs the next tire until all four are going. The monitor the pressure on the first - usually almost done at this point. Take of deflator when ready and move to the next tire which will be less than 30 secs from being done too. Whole truck done in about five minutes and way less fussy than the ARB.

    King ext travel coilovers, Icon tubular UCA's Rear-King "Tundra" 2.5's, Allpro Expos, TRD cat-back, Hurst/Core short shift kit, etc...
    I just used mine like that for the first time last week. It made me scramble a little to make sure I didn't over deflate the tires but it is way faster than doing one tire at a time.

    I prefer this style deflator. Fast and easy.

    They are made but Currie, ARB, EZDeflator, Dobinson, XBull, and others with prices ranging from around $25 to $40. Probably all made in the same Chinese factory.

    Being using the ARB for 3 years. No issues what so ever. Have used it alteast 30+ times airing down.

    ARBFTMFW! They do NOT adversely effect the TPMS. You WILL see the low pressure indicator light come on.....But it goes out as soon as you air up again. Really a GOOD way to monitor TPMS to see if it's working!

    I do ARB deflator and a CO2 inflation system Used it enough to know it works to perfection! Fast, easy, safe, and effective. Can't beat it!
