Its possible that my Google-Fu skills aren't that great, but I couldn;t find any posts about modifications to the rear seats of a double cab.

I just bought a 2015 and had on of my kids sit in the back. I'm 5'7", wife 5'3" somehow both boys ended up at 6'. Any way to lower the benches and/or provide any angle to teh seat back? I looked and couldn't find any aftermarket rear seats.

I sure would appreciate any help or direction here. Thanks in advance.

What cars are you driving that allows the back seats to be lowered and the seat angles to be adjusted?

I think he is asking if anyone has modified their for a bit more room.

I have not seen anyone mod the rear seats, only the fronts. The back seats aren't terribly uncomfortable in a taco, i'm 6'4 and did an 8 hour road trip back there once. Tell them just to be happy that you don't have a moonroof!

    Nice truck btw.

Exactly. Sorry I wasn't too clear. My Infiniti FX35 allowed the rear seat to recline.

The rear seats of the Taco aren't too bad, but at first look i thought there might be a way to lower them an inch or too. It kind of looks like there might be some space there. My son's head hit the roof when he leans back.

I know that a mod to put some rear rake in the seats would reduce the leg room, but I was thinking it might still add some comfort for longer trips when we have all four of us in the truck.

Thanks for the compliment. I really like the look of the truck.

Your main issue is the rear seat anchors to the rear wall to latch in place so any major adjustment I'd imagine would screw that up.

As for the seat bottoms, you'd be throwing them off with how they align with the seat backs. Seems even more uncomfortable.

I'm not familiar with any truck that does this. I know the tundra used to recline a bit but that's a full size
