Interestingly enough, on the Nalgene website the 32oz wide mouth bottles don't fit into the "fits cupholders" category.

Buy 2 - 24oz "on the fly" models and you'll be peeing every hour!

Based on this thread alone I think we have grounds for a class action.

Way to go, OP deleted his comment...probably trying to figure out if he can delete the whole thread, but much like the cupholder, he will be disappointed:facepalm:

Single poster. He didn't really mean it anyway. Add it to the graveyard of singlepost new member threads. Next he'll post a picture of a hot girl and ask if we have any plans tonight...

"I can't fit a wide mouth normal 1 liter nalgene bottle into the new cup holder. I use to have a 2006 Toyota tacoma that could fit larger gas station water bottles and nalgene bottles. This is annoying to me. I saw online that bottlepro makes a plastic piece that fits into the way-too-small cup holder allowing it to fit larger bottles but I personally don't like those. It makes your water bottle feel like you have a stripper pole in the center of your truck.

Anyone know of any mods or if it possible to replace with the older cupholders?"

Dear Toyota of America and Mike Sweers,

I never thought it would happen to me, with the 27 cup holders yall so generously filled the midsize Tacomas with, but I can't fit my big drink thermos in my cup holder. I guess I could put my drink into 27 smaller containers and utilize all the cup holders. but I just want to have one ultra mega cup holder to house my keg. I am writing you this letter because I have no choice but to invoke the lemon law based on the aforementioned issues. No hard feelings.

    Love,
    Billy Jack

    PS:
You just had to make the 3rd gen tacoma riddled with problems... don't you know third gen rhymes with turd gen!? That should have motivated you to go above and beyond!

I have to say, based on the Ridgeline photo I don't see how soccer moms prefer it to the Tacoma. We have way more cup holders. Even if they are a tiny bit small.

I was wondering this myself and read more of the thread and it looks like it is a "special" cup you can buy that does not fit in your truck. Sweet...
