    YES!! someone that knows what im talking about!! k so what im confused about now, what during my service could they of done to cause this?? yes there is a plastic cap... did u just lube it and the noise went away? i just dont know what the mechanic could of done to make it less lube?

    I remember using the thick globs of grease on those spots, steering bumper stops. Its all coming back to me. On the older toyotas, the plastic would wear away after awhile. Not sure what happened at your dealer tho, just put a glob, it worked on my older toyota & I did as part of my routine maintenance. Haven't heard em on my 06.

    nah everything is under warranty so they fixed it for me... if it continues and i need new caps they will replace them for me :D
