South Carolina BS thread under new MANAGEMENT and lives in SC

Problem I no longer have.

NO ONE EVER liked music more than I did. There was a time when I spent more on sound than I did on all other mods. That has changed. I grew up on a farm. Pre-tractor cab days.....LOUD diesel tractors with straight exhaust. Around age 15, I started racing dirt bikes. LOUD 2-stroke dirt bikes. Then the Army....LOUD Artillery. Dirt bikes hung on until I was in my mid 30's. Hearing loss has left it's mark. Now days, I appreciate SILENCE more than anything. Very rarely do I even turn a radio on. When I do, it's low volume.

Not suggesting anyone else live their life in relative silence, just commenting on the fact that now I don't have to shell out cubic dollars on audio equipment.

Been down that road once upon a time. I feel for you. I hope and pray everything works out the best it can. Simply the most stressful thing a person can go through.

I hear ya. I'm also past the LOUD music stage of my life (and many $$). Been there on the dirt bikes too! Tinnitus... it's mild but there.

Just trying to un-muddy the sound and enjoy the tunes

I hear ya also.. well not really unless you speak up and there isnt alot of other noise.
Motocross then Harley's. shooting without ear protection most of my youth. the tinnitus is so annoying! i sure wish i would have listened, if i knew then what i knew now.

 

I really like my Falkens Wild Peak AT and i don't think you can beat the price. i priced them at Discount tire Direct and then had Discount Tire match the price, but that is because i needed them mounted and balanced. they were the only e load tire i found with a 50,000 mile warranty.
