    Hola,

Had the clutch done on my 03 4x4 MT while they were replacing the frame (why not it was already apart). Ever since I've heard this chirping sound while in neutral, sound goes away when foot is on clutch. Took it in this week, they said it was normal. Had the truck for 5years, definitely a new sound.

Did some research and my feeling is throw out bearing, but looking for a second opinion.

It is the throwout bearing. Sounds like the clutch pedal isn't adjusted properly, but I don't know why it would have had to change unless they removed it from the firewall when they swapped the frame.

    throw out bearing.

Mine rang not too long after my install using the factory components and bearing.
Because my rig makes plenty of other rattles, groans and squeaks...
I just let it ring and ignore it and ain't fixin' it 'til it breaks.

Maybe turn up the radio volume or get a louder exhaust ? Lol

    Maybe it's an adjustment issue
or simply that the factory bearings suck.
I dunno... but IME it's a common issue with the 1st gens.

    If the install/repair is warrantied...
    address the installer for correction.

Definitely sounds like your throwout bearing, weird considering they just put in a new clutch. I just had my clutch replaced due to a bad throwout bearing, was chirping like a million crickets camping out underneath my truck, goes away with any pressure put on the clutch pedal. Classic bad TOB symptom.

Whoever put your clutch in should be responsible for putting in a new TOB now because a chirping one is not normal, in fact it means it's bad.
