How easy was it to swap bed rails? Were you able to transfer all the mounting hardware on yours easily to the truck you swapped with (as in he didn't need to do any additional drilling or purchasing of hardware)?

If you swap rails it will literally take 15 minutes. Start at the cab and pull the rails straight up. Once you get them off, swap hardware, swap rails, and plug in tonneau. It literally can't be any easier. Even if you have to cut the bed rails, it takes maybe an hour. Every tacoma (3rd gen) has the pems installed and ability to hold this hardware and tonneau.
