    Greetings,

Something is wrong with my clutch pedal in my 2011 4x4 DCSB TRD OR. The dealer diagnosed it as a broken connector between the pedal and clutch master cylinder. I didn't really look at it in detail and only took it to the dealer because I have an extended warranty, but the extended warranty company doesn't want to cover ANY clutch component. After looking at it tonight, I think the clutch master cylinder is starting to fail, but don't have a working one to compare with.

I need someone with a 2nd gen Tacoma (internet says the clutch pedals are the same or similar enough) to get under their dash and see if there is any play (in any direction) in the push rod behind the clutch pedal (where the red line on the left is). The push rod on my truck is about an inch away from the pedal and can be moved in about every direction.

I am also interested in the behavior of the "turnover spring". When the clutch pedal is up, it is positioned as in the image on the left. When you press the pedal down, the spring becomes oriented as in the right image.

I can try to get pictures, but it was difficult enough to get to where I could look at it to see what't going on.

    Thanks for the help!
