Long story short: my steering wheel shudders from about 70mph down to 60mph ONLY under moderate braking, there is no discernible brake pedal shudder or pulsing.

Around town, at about 45mph braking down, don't notice anything whatsoever.

If I'm really gunning it at 80mph and hit the brakes on the highway, NOTHING! until I get down to 70 and then the wobble hits again.

My first thought was that it might be unbalanced front wheels so I went and had that done to no avail. My second guess is that it's warped rotors... that would totally suck because I just replaced original OEM pads with Bosch units and had the OEM rotors turned A WEEK AGO.

Could they have warped that quickly?! Is it possibly an alignment issue? HELP!

My first thought is to go to Pep Boys or somewhere they can check the lateral run out on the rotors to rule that out before I redo the front brakes.

    ANY help is appreciated!

Yes rotors can warp rather easily, the more you resurface them the easier they warp. check the rotors for blue hot spots.

What people call warped rotors is usually uneven deposits of material on the rotor. You can get rid of the material with some hard braking followed up with some smooth slow braking. Look up proper brake bedding procedures. There's a lot of misinformation out there when it comes to "warped" rotors.
