lol dude, well explained!! I actually considered this approach a few days ago. But didn't think aluminum foil itself would really work that well. So I would have to go buy some expensive aluminum mesh by the foot. But it would also effect the bluetooth signal. I got a solution for it with moving the noise canceller to a new location, but I'm going to try your suggestion just for the fun of it! (and because it's very inexpensive) lol

The bluetooth antenna sticks out the back on a wire, so you just need to position it so it is NOT protected by the shield.

Aluminum foil will work as well as anything else.

There seems to be several other of the same style radios under different names on EBay. Iokone, Eonon, Pumpkin and Joyous are a few. Has anyone looked into these? Is there a reason Joying was chosen over the others?

I just searched eBay for "Android 5.1 Toyota Universal" and found them. They all have about the same website design for being "legit."

There is also half a dozen threads with an android head unit being installed. Just curious if you guys have gone over these while choosing too

How's the Joyous holding up? I'm definitely considering one. Iphone 7 friendly?
