I am interested in getting in on a group buy going on, planning on getting a full set of under armor and sliders for a new rig, but I have a question...

Do you do shipping out to Germany? I am military overseas, so unless you break the packages up to one by one and are willing to ship to an APO address it will have to be sent to my home down town which is a german address. Any information would be great prior to me jumping in for 2k worth of armor.

not 100% sure but I believe almost every vendor on here can ship via APO address... I used to get car parts shipped to my APO address all the time...

Man I wish that was the case. I have not found a single supplier for plate bumpers, sliders, armore, etc. that will ship to an APO address. I have a couple that are doing research to see about costs for shipping out here, but unfortunantely haven't gotten any confirmation as of yet. I still have a couple years out here.. So I may just have to wait until I get back to Idaho and then buy it all at once... but it would certainly be fun to start my build now instead.

ah I didn't think about the size of the parts... skid plates would be about as large and weight wise would be just about as heavy as you can go with USPS since they are the main APO services... I would go with smaller cosmetic parts for now and save up when you get back stateside... that's what I did with exhausts, suspension etc since shipping was a PITA... you'd be surprised what kind of deals you can find on the economy though with freight companies etc... I know DHL is a world wide supplier but in the end you would pay close to 1/4 of the price for shipping...

Yeah I am ok on waiting for almost everything.. But I really want the sliders. I have seen what has happened to my wifes car with the lack of space on roads and parking lots here. I am fully expecting to get gouged on shipping... but thats one addition I need. Then I will just have to wait and stare at this forum with envy for everything else.

If you have access to welder, there is a place in Kaiserslautern that sells steel. I bought some angel iron from there and use my chiefs landlords welder to fix my F150.
If you interested ill look up the place where you can buy the steel.
