    I didn't go up on tire size. The Maxtracs are heavier than stock spindles though. And I'm positive the Dakars are heavier than my original 3+1 pack.

    265’s look too small with a 4 inch spindle lift IMO.

    Not really! I mean, maybe is not the perfect size, but it's not that bad at all and the truck keeps the 90% of the power. Not everyone uses their Tacomas for wheeling only! Guys driving their trucks every day on highways and city, for example, needs better mpg and more power. The difference between a 265/75 is not really that big compared to 285/75.

    That's an old photo and I had a 2 inch block at that moment! No problems at all, but hey, I am a proud Mall crawler! :) This is the truck right now with 5 - 3 and 285s
