Show off your spindle lift with 265's

Maxtrac spindles with 5100s set at 1.6in of lift with the toytec 620lb coil and TSB leafs with wheelers profressive multi AAL with the overload kept in. Tires are 265/75/16 Hankook Dynapros ATM

 

Curious what are you guys getting for MPG with this set up?

 

Driving from round rock to cstat i get 16-17s. City averages around 14-15

 

I don't really have the faintest idea tbh.

 

I didn't go up on tire size. The Maxtracs are heavier than stock spindles though. And I'm positive the Dakars are heavier than my original 3+1 pack.

 

I know this thread is super old, but I have to say this! That truck is a beauty!

 

265’s look too small with a 4 inch spindle lift IMO.

 

Not really! I mean, maybe is not the perfect size, but it's not that bad at all and the truck keeps the 90% of the power. Not everyone uses their Tacomas for wheeling only! Guys driving their trucks every day on highways and city, for example, needs better mpg and more power. The difference between a 265/75 is not really that big compared to 285/75.

 

I agree, but looking at these pics it is def a noticeable difference.

 

This is my truck with 265/75 r16 and maxtrac lift. Yes, 33s are the perfect look, but... you know.

Is a spindle lift better than a suspension lift?

 

That's an old photo and I had a 2 inch block at that moment! No problems at all, but hey, I am a proud Mall crawler! This is the truck right now with 5 - 3 and 285s
