Looking for advise on what size gears to switch to on my 96 2.4 rwd manual tacoma with 30x9.5x15 (not factory size as they were 14 inch). factory gears are 3.42, (7.5 inch.) looking at either 4.56 or 4.88 dana. obviously not a crawler or off road just tring to resolve the lac of power in 1st, 2nd and 5th gear. and maybe getting the speedo back to somewhat accurate .

Personally I like going for deeper gears to get a little more torque.
