Well guys, just made the move! I upgraded from a 2009 4x4 DCSB SR5 Silver Streak Mica to a 2017 4x4 DCLB TRD Sport Black w/Black interior. Man what an upgrade, its soooo nice, I'm really loving it. It's my 3rd day with it, it's brand new! Here are a couple pics from the first day at home!

Killer man! The black looks really good with the few chrome accents. Love my '17. Just a beautiful truck in and out!

    Nice man!

I hated that clunky ass tag holder they put on. Removed it and drilled
out my plate so I could use the same holes, looks much better.

Thanks bro! LOL I totally hear that! That's the first thing I plan on doing when my plates come in, I also took off the stupid dealership sticker on the back, hate that!

yeah man, the screws that went through mine were pretty big and "just"
before I was about to make 2 more holes in it, I said screw that I'm drilling
    out the plate!

ha! those stickers I peel off right on the lot, they asked me why I was doing it and I
said I'd gladly leave it there if you'd like to pay an advertising fee.

Congrats! One word advice, take most the "problem" posts with a grain of salt or you'll be convinced your new truck is a lemon. TW is like WebMD. It can help you diagnose a rash OR convince you that you have cancer. Food for thought. :)

I am usually pretty good about leaving the advertising on, I don't care for the stickers but have lived with them. But when it looks like this

    IMG_1470.jpg

That shows the lack of care they have, so before I evened signed the last of the paper work, it looks like this.

yep, I took it off the tailgate and put it in the bed, I figure I don't want to forget what shitty job they did on the simple task. I will gladly talk to folks about my experience with Prime Motor Group

    Great colour!
    Aiii... those stickers!?!
Why do they all insist on that!

Mine removed the sticker just as they put it on. And while I support the breast cancer cause, I couldn't do the drive pink surround ..

Thanks guys! I have to admit I really love the new exterior and interior, sooooo nice! I totally agree with you guys on the stupid decals and plate covers. If they did their job well word of mouth should benefit them. When I got my 09 that was the first thing I did when I got home too lol...The black does look super sharp but if it get's dirty it sure shows, it's my first black truck. Now I just have to figure out some accessories lol. I know I want the front windows tinted and windshield strip, tonneau cover, and down the road i'd like a small suspension lift and some beefy tires. But for now I am very content, this thing is a beauty and looks great stock!

One thing though, I have searched on here about the break in period. I have seen some conflicting views, I ended up calling the service department at the dealership to get their thoughts. The guy told me "it may sound funny but drive it like you stole it" lol! I don't know that much about trucks besides the basics and whatnot but I wasn't sure what to think of that. He said the way they are made now you don't have to worry about it...
