I woke up the other morning to both of my mirrors (wife's RAV4 mirrors were a little tougher but were damaged, too) being ripped off and thrown into the street by some neighborhood kids. Well, my deductible is $1,000 and both of the quotes I've received to buy and install the mirrors have been right around $1,000. So my question is: where can I find replacement mirrors and how easy are they to install myself? I'd need the whole mirror including the triangle piece that connects the mirror to the car.

If only I knew which ones. Happened all down my street to other cars, too. Wish I would have woken up.

If you just want direct generic replacements then eBay or Amazon may be your best bet.

Tons of people have done the 4Runner heated mirrors swap and those are only $125 (generic) on ebay. Granted you need more parts to get the heat function working. Not sure if they would fit your truck but there are plenty of threads on here about it.
