It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
I'm putting on 285/75/16 stt pros on tues and I need to know whether or not I need spacers. I've searched and there are about 3 threads all with conflicting info. I have total chaos UCAs. I was told I would need spacers to clear UCAs but it looks like the tires would hit the spindle if anything. Do you think this is enough room? And whats the deal, is it OK or not OK to use spacers on hub centric? I will be doing CMC and have a front bumper so not worried about that. This is sitting about 1.5" higher than stock but will drop about .75" or so once I put on the coilovers.

These are the specs cooper lists:

    LT285/75R16 126\123Q E RWL 7.5 - 9 8 11.2 32.99 8.82 61 lbs 3750 19

    Man,
I want to know the answer to this as well. But on a side note, does this mean you bought KO2s only to replace them soon after? lol. Just noticed the thread pattern in the picture and wanted to ask. I hope someone with more knowledge than I can help. I wanted to get 285s when I got my tires but chickened out due to lack of knowledge and only getting conflicting information. best of luck sir

Thats pretty much what I did. NTB couldnt get 285/55 so I just went with 265/75 because I wasn't sure I wanted to commit to 285s. But luckily my NTB has a 1 month satisfaction guarantee. Also when I ordered the KO2s, I specifically asked if they were E rated and he told me no. (In 16s they only come in E) so that is grounds for a return anyway. But yeah he's letting me swap and just pay the difference.

I'm not worried about the wheel being too narrow, I just really really hope I don't have to use spacers. And I need to know if they are mandatory at time of install or if I can drive for a few days on street and see if I need them.

Im in the same boat so i went ahead and ordered the spacers anyway ($199 for 4). will be installing the BOSS 2.5 lift and 285s in a couple weeks. It seem to depend on ur UCA's and how aggressive your brand of tire is whether or not u need the spacers.

I went ahead and ordered them too just in case. I will let you know on tues. I'm going to try them first without the spacers.

I did about a 2" icon lift on mine and ran the 285/75/16's on stock rims. I didn't do a CMC, spacers or anything and she doesn't rub or have any problems at all. Hope this helps

Expand and read. He went with 285's then went back to 265's.
