Someone did it. It looked like shit (more so than these already do), needed modification to accommodate the condenser lines, and didn't have the correct spacing. The dude took it off and sold it to buy a different bumper.

20160802_154658.jpg ended up cutting the hoop off and drilling holes for the led mounts. Had about an inch or so gap on each side so it was able to flex. Later sold it

It honestly wasn't bad. Got looks and mad props everywhere i went. Just didn't like being front heavy and the sluggish feeling from it being so heavy.

I had a pair of those Kawells in my bumper for a while. I liked them because they were the only 4.5" I could find at a decent price point.

They had good output at first. But after about 6 months half the LEDs were burned out in one lamp. The other lamp had a couple that burned out as well. One went in the trash and the other is a utility light on my travel trailer now. The bumper got some smaller KC fogs which so far have been great

Have you towed anything with it since you put the bumper on? Outside of cost, would you rather have an aluminum one?

I haven't had to yank anyone out from the front recovery points, but I don't doubt that it will do the job.

I think I would love an aluminum one but the cost is extremely high!

Pulled the trigger and love it. With me running the 3" lift by procomp, I honestly can't tell a difference in weight with the bumper on. It didn't even sag the front end 1/2 an inch. Love the look and paid half the price, seems to be a solid and quality product. If it bites me in the ass then it's on me. I would deff recommend calling and talking to John at OffRoad Works. Really nice guy, I've talked to him several times. I'll deff be getting the rear bumper to match.

I would go for it but I would rather have one without the bar on it. I do have the rear and love the hell out of it.
