I ordered BAMF (should be shipping any day now) with DOM, and Mobtown reviews are great too. Both vendors have great forum presence and rave reviews. Whichever is closer is what I would do with for your order.

I couldn't agree more. I like BAMF too but I am in Florida so shipping from Cali just doesn't work. DOM is worth that extra money; titanium probably wouldn't be.

@RelentlessFab is who I went with. Sliders are DOM standard, and I got the fill plates for the dogs and the girlfriend.

No kickout because the 4Runner backseat would be annoying to get into, but their 2 piece kickouts for Tacomas are badass.

If I saw your T4R while standing in a school playground in sweatpants I'd end up having to explain to my wife when she bailed me out why I have to tell my neighbors what I'm newly registered as and it's not a wedding, newborn baby or house.

I didn't realize it until last week. But last time out, my left slider took a big hit. Took half the paint off the bottom and scuffed up the pipe. But not dents or bends.

I rocked mine hard, looks like road rash on it but it dents or bends. I felt that hit in my kidneys.

Check out our 2016+ Bolt on's. 2016+ specific design, not just carry over 05-15's that dont fit right over the new frame reinforcements. We've sold a couple dozen sets of them now, every customer has been stoked with them. We put a lot of time into our fab work, most sets I weld personally and are probably the cleanest MIG welds you'll find on a set. DOM round tube standard, 2x2x.120 wall square tube inners and 3/16" CNC cut and formed mounting and gussets.

@RelentlessFab your website says "currently available" but also mentions 6-8 week lead times. Is that the case right now, or does "currently available" mean available to order, not in stock? I have a '16 DCSB ... not sure if I want kickout or fill plates, I'm really looking for rocker panel protection for light wheeling, minimally obtrusive when climbing in and out.

Available to order, but made to order with the 6-8 week lead time as listed. For what you described I think the standard with fillers would be best. They're sort of like having the functionality of a slider and a step/running board all in the same package like that. We run that style on both of our 4runners since they're both offroad and passenger friendly(good for kids/dogs as well with the fillers)
