Hello all, I am a new Tacoma owner (2009 PreRunner w/ 4.0L) and I have the check engine light on. I had a scan and the report was faulty crank position sensor and Cam position sensor. Can someone please send me pictures or direct me where I can the see locations of these sensors on this motor.
    Would greatly appreciate it.

Has anyone ever had these 2 sensor warnings at the same time?
Apparently the service manual says the timing chain could of jump a tooth. They say it shouldn't be able to start back up if it has.
    Any ideas out there?

Post the codes that have been pulled. It will help those who've been down this road to better assist you.

    Thanks Lester
    The service bulletin really helped.
As I was asking before according to the service manual it says it could be a the cam jumped a tooth. According to my research it should not start after turning the engine the first time. It seems to be running fine. I am wondering if I should just replace them.
