CAI

What up peeps. I looking to get a CAI. I know they don't do anything for performance,I'm just looking to clean up the engine bay a little by getting rid of the giant factory filter box. My truck is a 2013. I think the URD TCAI looks kind of cool. Has anyone who's used any CAI have it affect their mpg?

 

CAIs are good for cleaning up the engine compartment like you want but the reality is dont look for mpg gain or hp gain. Other than anecdotal claims of improvement there are no tests that show real gains.

 

Is urd the one that looks to the front of engine? It's OK looking I guess.

Most people get the Afe stage 2. The trd intake looks the same as that.

Volant also makes a closed box intake and has a scoop that goes to the front which is pretty cool. I just so happen to have an extra one I want to sell. . . . . .
