Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Those are nice but I'm not in love with the design. Thanks for the heads up though!

I just picked up a Bestop & in my research I came across a thread where a guy had a 2nd gen Supertop that he put on his 3rd gen and it sat an inch or two above the roof line due to the taller bed sides on 3rd gen. Online specs say bed sides are 1.1" taller. Not sure about your wife or GF.... but 1.1" may be tolerable to you for the right price :D

Shit I'd be fine with 2 inches above. Especially if it's less than half the price of a new one

No clue. Our smittybilt rep brought one to my work. Now I didn't operate any zippers or really operate the RTT but the ladder was sturdy, I climbed in it and felt comfortable and sturdy. The base is wood, so that could be a part of the price difference. The rep packed it up and un folded it in a matter of minutes.

Edit: Two people could comfortably sleep up there. Might be mildly uncomfortable for two dudes who aren't @Nicklovin & @uhplifted, but two can sleep comfortably

That ladder's definitely wider than my CVT's, but mine has an aluminum/fiberglass base I think

Yeah, the base is the only weak point IMO. I don't think it would really cause any problems, I can't remember the exact thinckness but I remember thinking it was decently thick.

No first hand experience myself with rtt's but I definitely want one someday. From the research I have heard issue with smittybilt's rtt. Mainly to do with fit and finish...zipper issues, water leaking at the seams, condensation problems, and metal shavings and burrs left behind on and from the frame. But that's definitely a better price then most that I have seen minus the current GB. Never new it was a wood floor? With water issues that wood be a definite concern over time.

Actually it isn't a wood floor...

Still may have it's own problems like you mentioned. I haven't really look into them as I am far away from a RTT purchase

That $700 Tepui is a smoking deal...like 50% off for something used once. Also the mattress has a washable cover so you can wash that for extra cleanliness. If I didn't already have one I'd scoop that up in a heartbeat. Not to mention they're CA based and can get parts to you quickly
