16x7 vs 16x8

    Probably a stupid question but oh well. Stock Tacoma wheels are 16x7, I run a stock 245/75/16 on a 16x8. Does the wider rim have any impact on tread wear, mpg or handling using the same tire? Thanks

    BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
    I think it rides better on 16x8's
