My 02 DC Pre Runner with a Supercharged 2.7 4cyl has easily passed smog before . I'm wanting to go to a 2.4" blower pulley and 5th injector . It has passed before with the higher flowing "pink " injectors

My question is will a 5th injector and/or smaller pulley fail visual or during the actual test ??

I'm not due for smog test for awhile but want to make sure if /when its done I'm okay

I know that the 7th injector is listed on URDs website as "for racing vehicles only" because in CA it will fail the visual inspection. Seems like most people get away with it though because it's somewhat discreet and the techs don't usually know to look for it.

I'm surprised you passed with the supercharger, is it TRD? I thought all but the TRD ones weren't CARB certified (until recently).

I've got a TRD CARB 50 state legal decal on the firewall along with the K&N CAI CARB 50 state legal decal

The original owner has had it smogged numerous times and has passed

Right on, I didn't know that TRD made superchargers for the 4cyl, that's cool. If it passed at a station that didn't mind the pink injectors then I'd continue taking it there if you get the 5th injector, because I don't believe that its CA street legal.

I forgot to mention I installed a CARB 50 State legal header from Doug Thorley

I'm in the I.E and that smog station is in San. diego

Couldn't hurt to try a local station then, worst they'll say is no then you try the next one.

Talked with a tech at LCE about meth/water injection and he said that's not a good idea
