Where the heck is everyone getting the "TOYOTA" emblem for the front grill? I've googled and ebay'd but keep finding people selling them for $60+...

Is there somewhere cheaper to get one?

Or a junkyard with a pre-tacoma era hi-lux truck! My 1990 had the "TOYOTA" emblem.

I scored mine on ebay, it was an original 78 in good shape. Think I paid like $11 after shipping. Just got lucky I guess, havent seen one that cheap since.

Just scored one (40 series cruiser METAL emblem) off ebay for $33 shipped. Painting the letters red and installing on my Grillcraft grill. Also sanded chrome off the plasticgrill shroud and painted that black as well. Should really POP once the A.P. plate bumper is installed!! Rob

The larger "TOYOTA" emblem that Silverback07 has (from the old FJ60) looks the best IMO. They can be hard to find, but I came across this website that has them used for $30 plus shipping.

    http://www.cruiserparts.net/parts/fj60.htm

You have to scroll down towards the bottom of the page to find the emblem or you can just give these guys a call... I'm sure they will take care of you.

Wow... that's a great deal... $43 for that emblem. That is IMO the best looking "toyota" emblem for the front grill.

    Thanks for posting the information.

I'm not even sure how I'm going to mount it. It has two pins on the back with a third pin allowing a screw to go through it. I'll post some pics when it's up.

That Emblem looks sick...I just ordered one from toyotacheapparts.com as well. The dealership apparently lists it as discontinued.

I didn't even think about drilling through the emblem and runing a bolt and nut through it. I went ahead and just liquid nailed it on.
