Does anyone know of a strong bumper that will stand up to hitting a deer or a cow at highway speeds.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.

plate bumper. heavier gauge steel the better. light hoops and the whole deal. cables from light hoops to forward corners of roof just to be that over-the-top guy.

BTW: deer or cows. big difference. No excuse to EVER hit a cow. I've never seen one of those dumb fucking things bolt out of nowhere. You hit a cow - you were sleeping or texting.

ARB or Fab Fours are probably your best bets, both run about 2k up here in Canada....shipping amirite? Probably less in the states considering the dollar as well :) Just my two cents.

They sell these bumpers online. They are guaranteed to deflect all types of animals away from the truck.DC_Snow_Toyota_Tacoma_SEMA_front_three_q_79055b3110c4e97493fccb0f0d67d4134339a288.jpg

Mostly stock with a few minor mods.
I've had a few cows hit. They graze on state or BLM land and morons leave gates open. They're big and black and stand still in the middle of the lane. You'd think people would see them, but at 80 mph and at midnight they don't . Just had a bull killed last week in this manner. If you go through a gate to go wheeling, close it! You may not see the cows but they can sense an open gate from miles away I swear.

Haha thank you so much for the clarification.. I must have been sleeping or texting.. you caught me.... I normally don't respond to this type of thing, but that's one of the most ignorant things I've read all day.

Well it astounds me that my comment was the most ignorant thing you've read all day (especially given the presidential election candidates you guys have chosen).

If you mean rude, it wasn't meant to be rude. The F bomb was in poor taste. Granted. If you mean ill-informed then I dig in my heels and stick to my guns. I don't think there's ever a good excuse to accidentally drive into a cow. If you're paying attention you should see it, and you should be driving in a manner that you can avoid big slow moving objects that are in front of you, whether they have reflective lights or not. You may need better tires, better headlights, or a lighter foot. I'm used to driving long stretches of highway through open range and am used to having to stop for/drive around cattle, horses, etc so I'm not just talking entirely out of my ass. I get that they can be hard to see in the dark if you don't get a reflection from their eyes. I'm just saying don't always count on having something shiny to look out for.

Just an opinion. Internet's full of them. I wasn't out to offend. Happy trails.
