UCON EMS 2005-2008

UCON Engine Management System for 2005-2008 Tacoma.
Currently loaded with Stage III tune from URD that was run on a X-Runner.
This will come as photoed and will include the Cooler Thermostat as shipped new, but NOT the Cam Gear, as it was left on the truck that this system was previously on and cannot be retrieved. You can contact the guys at URD to get one, or pick one up here.
Currently located in Riverside, CA. Willing to meet in SoCal or ship.
Looking to get $1,000.

UCON is a kit that relies on the retarding of the timing with the cam gears in the kit. All three parts, thermostat gears and piggy back work in unison. Take caution on buying used kits and better to go new from URD USA.

Real talk. I have the kit. If you buy the kit missing the cam gears might as well do a reflash.

 

So you have no problem going in a guys thread selling an item and telling people not to buy it?

 

Fuck off. If he can get the cam gears great, but buying the UCON and not having the necessitys of the kit is fucking up. UCON depends on the cam gears. I am saving a fellow Taco looking for performance. You probably paint the skid plate and call it a performance part. Good luck and hopefully this is some frank insight on the UCON.

granted I didn't post what you replied to, but I bid on this when it was for sale on eBay also, and urd advised me the same. I just now realized it was f/s here.

It put a bad taste in my mouth from the way urd responded to me about the cam gears available separately. They wouldn't confirm or deny that they were available separately but said dont buy a kit without the gears as it relies on them. Basically give us $1500 when you can buy this setup and cam gears for half the price. Would have bought it but urd left me up in the air.
