    Same as everybody else...
I'm not mechanically inclined but can handle most of the routine maintenance my truck needs.I've owned my truck for a little over 18 months and the longer I have it the more comfortable I am turning wrenches on her. I've done most of the oil changes, replaced air and cabin filters, cleaned the MAS and throttle body and a few other things. This past summer I did a number on my back, some of the things I planned on doing like spark plugs, I had the local dealer do. Anyway I added up the cost of all of the maintenance I did and compared it to what the dealership would have charged. Minus the cost of parts I have saved well over $450 bucks thanks to the solid help that the folks on TW have provided. I've also learned to recognize when the service department is trying to sell me service that I really don't need. The money I have saved goes to helping pay down my truck loan, the sooner I get it paid off the better!

Just wait until you start jumping in on group buys and mods...then you'll start burning through cash like nobodies business.

My wife thinks I have a group buy addiction. Now I have to refer to it as GBs when I'm talking to my buddies.
