Crashed my rear bumper

Had a horrible day today, accidently backed my truck into a pole, inside a parking garage in DTLA. Basically my driver side end cap cracked in have and my top step up pad is crooked. So looks like I'm going to half to replace everything. Will Warranty cover this bumper to bumper? and also I currently do not have parking sensors, is it possible to replace my end caps and step pad with the ones for the sensors? Ill take pics in the mourning, I was so pissed, can't get over this.

 

Your warranty will absolutely not cover any damage due to an accident.

 

Under what premise would make you think that there could be any warranty involved here ?

 

Somebody dinged my rear bumper and took off, so I repaired it out of pocket. Had to replace one bumper cap and the step plate, also the metal frame below the step cap. I think everything cost around $400, but I bought all the parts from the local dealer at a decent price and had a local bodyshop install.

You can also just buy the whole bumper assembly, I've seen a Craigslist ad under the auto parts section in San Diego selling complete bumper assemblies in certain colors, not sure what the price is, but definitely worth checking out. Also, these are without the sensors, not sure how to go about that.

 

You gotta have a terd for a brain If you think you are fixing under warranty. Yeh they just fix every fuckup of everyone.REALLY!

You can't replace half. The bumper is 3 sections. So depending on the damage, you do 1/3, 2/3, or everything.

Well lucky for op everything cool and 2nd hand is sold in cali. Just search marketplace or cl for 2nd hand oem bumpers or plate bumpers
