Okay I got a full size spare and swapped my damaged front rim with a new rim bought a new tmps valve from toyota online had it installed at a local but now none of my tires are showing any tire pressure. Went to the stealership (God I hate doing that!) The mechanic made it sound like it was a long procedure and it could take a couple of hours. Again I hate the stealerships, grr. I have heard that the system can only be programmed with four sensors, maybe the reason the spare doesnt have one. Is that true ? if so would it be best to just take my spare down have the tmps valve swapped to the good rim and call it a day? would this work or will i have to still have it reprogrammed. Thanks in advance guys for any input. TacomaWorld and its members have always had solutions where the damn Toyota techs are money collecting morons without half of the knowledge found here.
