Go where they sell auto parts and go the isle that saysTRAILER HITCHES AND THE LITTLE SIVER PINS BT THE HITCHES . PICK ONE UP AND SEE IF IT FITS INTO YOUR RECIVER. THATS PROBLY WHAT YOU ARE TALKIN ABOUT. THIS THING CALLED TAPE MEASURE HAS LITTLE MARKS ON IT TO FIND HOW BIG THINGS ARE. I HOPE I WAS HELPFUL

 

The stock Tacoma hitch is "wider" than normal. This matters if you are getting a locking hitch pin. Many hitch locks are not long enough.

 

Not a class 2?

 

I have a 5/8" x 3" pin and it works perfectly fine in my OEM receiver.

Is he supposed to take his truck into the "isle" for test fitting the pin? Or unbolt the receiver hitch and carry it in for test fitting the pin? Or buy one, then test fit it in the parking lot only to find it's wrong?
