Yes... I have to run 6mm spacers and longer hub stubs
in order to clear my wider 295's

Ideally I should buy new 3.75" BS'd wheels for my 295's
but it's not in my budget...
Besides I'm thinking I'll drop back down to 285's next tire purchase.

The 285's were so much easier to fit and clear during extreme off road articulation.
Plus I liked my 4.88's lower gearing/torque combo with the 285's off road.

I was able to run 285/75/16 tires with 2.5" of susp. lift
but had to clearance the inner fender well some with a BFH.
The pinch weld need be flattened.
And a little removal of the plastic inner liner as well.

I had to utilize a 1" body lift with 2.5" of susp. lift
in order to fit my 295's.
And they still rub some with extreme off road articulation.

On road... my 295's clear and do not rub.

Excellent! thank you sir. so in other words I should be fine with the 285 75 16 tires while doing some trimming. So no need to buy spacers.

yes 285's should not require the use of a spacer
as long as the wheel is BS'd 4.0" minimally.

You'll still need do some massaging to the inner fenderwell tho'
BFH usually can net the necessary clearancing.

Tho' I can't say for sure how much... if the susp. lift is only 2"

Tire height is less of an issue then tire width.
    Well up to 33" t X 11.5" w
Wider then 11.5" will likely be more challenging.

    Ideally a 10.50 - 11.5" width is easiest.

    Hence the always popular tall/skinny 255/85/16 ( 33.1" T X 10.50" W X 16" wheel )
This size tire can be fitted to the stock wheels... generally.

I noticed they discontinued the same wheels you have, but now they have something similar I think it's the 7069. still has the same specs. I appreciate your help.

I thought these were still available thru Pro-Comp # 8069-6883
Maybe not... but possibly they can still be attained elsewhere ( old stock ? )

    http://www.tiresupplysc.com/browse/wheels/Pro-Comp-Wheels-227/Series-8069-19056/16X8-75638

I'm not sure about the 7069's having the same off set.
Think those are flat black... so maybe those replace the 8069-6883
Maybe call Pro-Comp and inquire with them
as to which wheel they sell replaces the 8069-6883.

Just gave them a call and it seems like the 8069 are discontinued and the 7069 are the replacement of them. however, they have 1 mm in offset difference, which he said shouldnt make much of a difference.

The other difference like you mentioned is the finish. 8069 is gloss and 7069 is matte black.

He said there should be no issues fitting these wheels on our trucks.

I have the 7069's and am still very happy with my choice. I have only about 1.5" of lift and they fit 265/75/16's with no rubbing. Here they are with the rear end getting a bit of flex..
