is it normal to downshift up hills with bigger tires? Also when I am stepping on the gas if there is any hill the rpms shoot up to about 1700 rpms if there is any hill without me even stepping more on the gas? Then the rpms use to be I guess just stronger and would make you have to step on it to advance, they would hold what you were at on small hills, and when you jumped from 1500-1700 or 2000 rpms it felt like you were really pushing before the lift. Now with the bigger tires is it normal for it to feel weaker since the bigger tires? this is mostly just city driving once I hit the highway they feel more firm unless a hill is coming then downshifts? is this bad? I check my fluids never step on it I slowly gain speed and try to hold my rpms. Im not stepping on it or anything I baby this thing. Is this normal? for bigger tires?

question- rpms feel weaker in city driving/hills/0-40mpg/downshifts? normal for big tires? Im no stepping on it I baby it.

tranmission feels great and shifts like a champ. fluids are pink and perfect level. Jusy wondering if its normal for the rpms to feel different after bigger tires plus its a 4 cylinder so downshifts happened anyway with the small ones up hills just not the small ones.

Downshifting to find more power is normal.

Fighting gravity by driving up hill requires more power.

    Bigger tires or not.

Bigger tires make it work harder to move. Therefore you need more power.

    Again, normal.

I have to downshift all the time and if I have two motorcycles in the bed I don't get out of 4th really on the highway.
