Workers in Georgetown KY (Camry) and Arlington TX (Tundra and Tacoma) have voted previously NOT to join the UAW. They are compensated competitive (union) wage scales and benefits. Most believe collective bargaining not to be in their best interests. They are the beneficiaries of UAW wage and benefit precedents without the "burden" of UAW representation. These are sought after jobs because of worker friendly production environments and compensation packages that rival that of UAW facilities, without the contentious worker / company "work rules" associated with union "contracts".
