So unfortunantely due to my geographical separation from the better half of the globe, I may need to look at having sliders manufactured if I want them. Anyone have any good spec or plans? I will be trying to walk into a local fab shop and explain what I need.. and odds are they have never seen a Tacoma before...

ARB is making sliders for the 3rd gens...
I'm sure you could find a dealer out there for them.

But if you want any of the independent guys like RCI, All pro etc you'll probably have a hard time.
But hey its 2016 (almost 2017) with the right amount of money I'm sure you could get them shipped to you lol.
Or if you still know someone here in North America maybe see if they can order you them and then have them ship it to you?
I've ordered stuff from germany, czech republic and italy before, just had it shipped to family in Italy then had them put it in a crate and ship it over to me. They've done it too, order stuff here (or have me order stuff for them and send it to them) then they just wiretransfer me the money.

When I sent stuff to them I used DHL for the smaller stuff you can fit in a box. But when I had to ship a whole pallet I used a company called AGS Global Freight
When they shipped here I think it was DHL as well, other times when it was smaller stuff just put it in regular mail. It takes a while to get though and it can be pricey.
