Update, I finally reached my 5k mile service.( suckered me in just for a tire rotation) so I had them find my lighting issue.

    1. They claimed the led lights caused the fuse to blow. I removed all of them and replaced with factory bulbs before I brought it there. The LEDs were in my glove box.
I asked them to explain ,they could not as expected.I asked what was the problem . They said it was a fuse behind a panel I would have not found.???? Hummmm

As I started to drive off the interior lights would not turn off. When I pressed the map lights they got brighter. If I tiggled the switch to the off position they would turn off.

    2. They took the vehicle to service again and hour and a half later they came back and said the overhead console was found to have a short. They will order a replacement. They said the fuse kept blowing.

Can't wait for feedback on this.

Check the main overhead dome light.(not the map lights by the mirror)

Remove the cover and look up thru it, there is a metal brace that can get dislodged and fall into the two contacts of the light socket.

I used the incorrect width LED bulb in mine and caused this same issue. It spread the bulb contacts until they shorted against the bracket above and it immediately blew my fuse.
I popped out the light, found the bracket or brace or whatever it is, removed it and installed the proper width bulb and have been problem free ever since.
    I have no pictures, sorry.
The housing comes out of the roof by depressing two tabs opposite each other, they are essentially claws grabbing the headliner.

Had exact same issue. replaced the 7.5 with a 10 as i had no spare 7.5 but also had to do what this person said with the bracket. That was 6 months ago and i have not had a problem since.

Broke my tail light too while removing it to change out the reverse lights.... oh, my dumb ass also pushed one of the map lights up through the CRAWL console and had to remove the whole unit to retrieve it as the rattling while driving around was literally driving me insane. All in all i'd say the LED conversion was a pretty pain free mod... LOL

I cautioned this on a post earlier. I know several people who have had their BCM (Body Control Module) damaged due to LED lights. I have no clue why it happens, but the biggest indicator are when the lights come off and will NOT shut off. The BCM is what controls them (aka the fade in and fade out effect). One of my friends with a 17 Taco had to have the BCM replaced and it solved the issue. I took my LED's out afterwards and went back to standard halogens to avoid a future issue and I don't care what anybody on here says, both headlights and interiors were NOT LED's from the factory and mine is gonna stay that way!
