Sorry about your relationship. Better now, than during a marriage. Divorce is messy.

    Best wishes.

So I got bored at work (got a break finally). Read this entire thread.

Just wanted to say, "LOL!:rofl::rofl:"

I bought my sliders from another vendor. And they are welded on. But they are scarred from Moab. Still haven't touched up the black paint since they were scratched in June. Should probably do that. Oh, my poor powder coat!! Ack! :help:

Not much on mods - Leer 180, TRD wheels, Mobtown sliders, rear hitch, helper springs on the rear
I know it's an old thread - but I also had to cut a 3/8" by 2" notch off the top rear portion of the C-channel to fit my sliders to my 2015 Access Cab. There was no way of getting all the holes to line up other wise. It's about a minute per side with a sawzall.

I used a pair of milk crates with some cut 2x6 boards on each crate as shims to support the slider to get started.

I also used a longer than the supplied 10mm bolt - in step 1 - while I lined up each each slider. In step 2, I used a small pair of needle nose vise grips to guide the bolt with welded on square washer into the bottom hole of the forward most angled plate of the slider. Once the forward most nut was installed on the supplied bolt with welded-on washer, I installed the supplied 10mm-1.25 threaded bolt to the center of the slider. At this point check the alignment of all the other holes before and while tightening the center bolt and front nut.

As to the off-topic discussion - if you off-road, the paint / powder coat will get scratched off. I've already crunched against a rock on the passenger side. No big deal - it was definitely better than a 2 foot long ding on bottom side of sill area beneath my passenger door.

Thank you for the note. We can only offer continuous growth and precision with the help of our consumer base. This is a new issue that we have learned with the access cabs. We were unaware that the body mount was hitting the flange. We have a few sets out there that installed on the access cabs with no interference and now we are seeing a few with issues and we haven't changed anything. So we will take this and be sure to incorporate the revision for future builds.

It appears to be an Access Cab problem. Thing is we RARELY sell sliders to Access Cab trucks. Over 200 sets sold and shipped to date, might have 5 trucks at Access Cab, two total with interference issues now.

Did you read that folks, a vendor who pays attention to field reports. Local manufacturing rules.

A summer 2015 build date on the Access Cab. The rear chassis supports for the rear cab mounts may be longer or placed differently than in past builds.

I'm trying to mount a set on my '16 Access Cab right now too, and am running into the same trouble on both the drivers and passenger side. (I'm currently waiting for the re-paint to dry after the second shot at cutting a notch that's big enough; looks like I have to knock about 3/8" off, which puts it back into part of the weld on the triangle strut.) Very annoying.
