Finally got a decent video of lights running down my road very early morning. No street lights so this should help. Camera was inside truck on top of dash viewing through windshield and not at driver's eye level.
Video can be seen here: https://youtu.be/r8efapcM4H0

OP, it looks like your lights have a similar cut-off to the ones on the Philips LED lights I've been running for a year, so I think it may have been the lights being a bit high. I've only been flashed once in the last 12 months so that's not too bad. I'm attaching a couple of pics of the light output from mine for comparison purposes. I have one where you can clearly see the light being cut off from the bottom half of the reflector, but I can't find it at the moment. If I do I'll add it here so you can compare your cut-off to it.

This is on a stretch of road with no ambient lighting with the headlights and fogs on:

    HL1.jpg

This is with more ambient light. You can still see how bright they are:

    You are correct!

It took me a few lazy months, but after recently adjusting it, I stopped getting flashed at.

I do miss lighting up the roads ahead of me on low beam, but safety first and stupidity last.

    Thanks for the help everyone.

Ok, found the pics I was talking about in my other post...here you can see how the light is cut-off from the bottom of the reflector. And throwing in a pic of the bulbs just for good measure. IMG_7545.jpg IMG_7546.jpg IMG_7484.jpg

Yeah, the box is kinda ratty and shipping didn't do it any favors. But I've ordered twice from xenondepot for two trucks, not from some unknown vendor and have had no problems with them.. The bulbs are solid as hell too. So I am pleased with their quality.

The same shit everyone else has.
LED bulbs and halogen reflector bowls do not mix.

My fog lights prove you right. Nasty scatter!

The way I adjusted my headlights says I should be alright.

I'll do another video with my GoPro on the hood. It is much brighter than the video shows. All I know is, they ARE better than OEM Halogen lights. Stay tuned...

I have to partially disagree with you. The bulb Philips made works just fine in the halogen reflector. It has the proper cutoff just like the halogen H4's do. Now some of the other LEDs out there with no cutoff...yeah, those are no good since they are throwing light all over the reflector.

Did you read the post with the thread link on why this does not work on page 1? Anyone that says they "adjusted their headlights" to "fix scatter" does not understand the issue. Scatter means the halogen reflector housing is unable to control the beam or cut off, aiming the cut off on something that cannot control the cut off will not fix the issue.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/why-leds-should-not-be-run-in-halogen-reflectors.454371/

This is an interesting one. As Philips is a major cooperation, and the only reputable mainstream manufacture I am aware of to make this claim that their LEDs maintain halogen beam patterns and cut offs. I was curious enough that I have a set I will be testing shortly.

I wasn't aware adjusting fogs were possible.

Anyways, fogs and headlights are two different things.

The problem has been solved for over a month guys. Thanks for everyone's input.
