Saw a thread about swapping out head units on 3rd gens but cannot find it. What options do I have as far as using OEM head units? I have a 2017 SR5 and saw the thread that all head units will be swappable as long as you have the right bezel. I have the regular entune.

My kid just bought the latest 2.0 DIN Kenwood head unit to add to her 2005 taco. It's pretty bad ass. Better than my factory 2016 OR has. It allows Google maps or the icar thing to take over, multiple cameras, great tuning of sound... It also hooks into factory steering wheel buttons.

It's worth a look anyway while you're over at crutchfield.

Thx guys, just went over to Crutchfield. Don't know where to start, just might have to go aftermarket. So many choices.

Call Crutchfield directly- the people there are knowledgeable and cool about it-

Also doesn't hurt to check youtube for head unit reviews.
