Need some speaker suggestions. Presently planning to use only the amps in a NAV HU(either Pioneer z1100bt or JVC 7000bt) I am planning on buying.
I guess under $300 is price range on speaker upgrade. Prefer component 6.5 What do you suggest? And where do you suggest buying them?

edit: I prefer clarity over loudness

I have some kicker 5 1/4" components in the front I have had for years now that I have been very pleased with. I am running them from an amp, sorry cant remember how many watts exactly, I want to say roughly 75/channel, and have had no distortion or problems.

Big fan of crutchfield, we have a retail store here in Harrisonburg and a little mini vacation to Crutchfield is always fun. Customer service from them is the best I've ever dealt with. Busted an amp on a screw in the back of my car years ago. Bought the sub for $100. Went back they said here's a screwdriver, take it out and I'll get you a new one, no questions asked. In fact, they did not have the older model that I owned, thus gave me the brand new one, a $320 speaker.

You can get some Image Dynamic ctx65c from woofersetc.com for $180 and use the rest for a small amp. I'm about to do the same myself.

These look pretty good and seem to get good reviews.

    Any more suggestions?
