My roof is starting to fade on my black taco. It's really not bad yet. What's the best way to correct and stop the issue before worsening?

It's the clearcoat. No stopping once it starts.

Clean and waxed *may* slow it, but not much.

Originally not Expo AF! Kinda Expo AF now...lame.
I'm with the guy who says rhino line it and be done with it. On a 2006 no one will think that's bad and then you can strap stuff up there while camping and it won't mess it up.

If you decided to consider the 'liner' route, look at www.monstaliner.com

Several benefits over the rubber chip infused products. Especially on surface panels.

I'm going with the "Ultra" in a couple years. Doing away with the black paint I have to wax.. Dirt won't settle in the Ultra like it does on Rhino Lining, (rough surface)

LINE-X ULTRA is our latest coatings innovation that offers a smoother, less textured finish with exceptional durability. ULTRA is a thin build coating which can be sprayed into tight areas and adds minimal weight, yet is tougher than paint or powder coat. It is the perfect coating for LINE-X Body Armour applications.

2006? Completely missed that part. Yeah go Linex of planning on keeping the truck a while.

How about covering the roof with matte black vinyl?

Vinyl will have to be replaced. Line-X will not.

    Working on it now....UNDER CONSTRUCTION
I would look at the vinyl wrap or Plastidip. If you go the route of Plastidip you will need to get the gallon cans and spray it with the spray gun due to the surface area to be covered.
