So I bought the Toytec 3 inch lift with the Bilstein 5100 shocks (they have a .5 inch spacer as well) and rear AAL about 2 months ago. It's great, I am very happy with my purchase. I am just looking for suggestions on how to lift it just a little bit higher, also without making another big purchase. Obviously I'm going to stick with my current shocks and struts. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to get something like a 1 or 2 inch spacer in the front and a 1 or 2 inch block in the rear. I do take my truck offroad, but nothing serious, just some mud and sand usually. Just looking for suggestions.

I want to make it a bit higher for:
    -the look
-because i stuffed 285/70/R17 and they rub the cab mount occasionally
-I would like to see about 285/75/R17 or 33's
-i want to piss of my girlfriend
-I gotta outdo my friend's GMC Canyon
-I want to spend money I don't have, for things I don't need, to show off to people i don't know

If your already at 3" with a 4x4 you will be spending alot more money on replacing cv axles if you go any higher. The angle will get pretty nasty. Advice would be to do a CMC, cut your fenders, beat down your pinch welds and just go to 35's with what you got. Or just do CMC and be happy you don't drive a canyon

I was thinking about doing that little 1 inch body lift and A CMC
    no rubbing
And I'll get a little higher

Not much of a point if you ask me but to each there own. Roof height and actual clearance height are 2 separate things. Keep that in mind. I would rather not clip extra tree branches when riding just cause I wanted my roof to sit higher than my buddies.

    You have two options:

    1. Body lift
    2. Drop bracket lift kit

You can't add additonaly spacers on top for more lift. You'll ruin your cv axles and the suspension can't handle those angles. The rear you could add a block if you wanted too, the front you're maxxed at 3" without a drop bracket

Can I do a DBL and keep my current shocks and struts?
I've only ever seen them come with everything included.

That I don't know. I know on the drop bracket lifts they use a large spacer, so that would lead me to say yes (just don't use the spacer since your toytecs lift 3"). But I've also seen for coilovers (fox, King, Icon) there's a completely different coilover assembly for the 6" drop bracket lifts.
So being that you have a toytec coilover with 5100s... Idk.

    Alright.

I kind of know a guy who works in an auto customs shop, so I'll just wait till I see him again and see what kind of advice he can give me.

I'll report back when I find out
    Thanks!
